Residential Service Discounts

Residential Refuse Discounts are available to seniors and low income persons with disability. If you feel you meet the requirements below, please complete and submit a Refuse Rate Discount Application. Completed applications should be submitted to the City for review and approval. A discount will be granted by the City once qualifications are verified.

Senior Discount

Requirements: Must be at least 62 years of age, and head of household. Existing 96 gallon barrels will be replaced with 64 gallon barrels. Valet service is available upon request for individuals that need assistance placing their barrels at curbside on collection days, subject to doctors’ note or verified disabled designation. You may opt for smaller barrels (35 gallon capacity) for ease of use.

Senior - Low Income Discount

Requirements: Must be at least 62 years of age, and head of household. Must be able to demonstrate low income status, based on HUD low income eligibility. Valet service is available upon request for individuals that need assistance placing their barrels at curbside on collection days, subject to doctors’ note or verified disabled designation. You may opt for smaller barrels (35 gallon capacity) for ease of use.

Disabled - Low Income Discount

Requirements: Must show proof of permanent disability. Must be able to demonstrate low income status, based on HUD low income eligibility. Valet service is available upon request for individuals that need assistance placing their barrels at curbside on collection days. You may opt for smaller barrels (35 gallon capacity) for ease of use.
