You may be eligible to participate in a new financial assistance program for the 
City of El Monte.

homeschool-education-and-distance-learning-for-ch-2022-12-07-22-36-44-utcEligible applicants will be randomly selected to receive $500 a month for one year. Eligible participants:

Application will be available March 27, 2023 - April 15, 2023

• Must live within El Monte city limits

• Be a single female head of household with no spouse or partner present

• Have children living in the household between ages of 0-17

• Have a verified income at or below the federal poverty line (according to the 2023 U.S. Department of Commerce guidelines)

• Be able to show a need for financial assistance due to being impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic

• Must be able to submit documents verifying school enrollment, proof of residency, proof of income, and a government issued ID
